Racing with the Stars! FSCS Marathon 2008
Friday, October 10 is our final Marathon Money Collection Day! Make sure you bring in the remaining money you have collected to be entered into the drawing for the many wonderful prizes we have available! We are roughly $8,000 shy of our $60,000 goal. I know we can make it if we all pitch.
Wow! What a fantastic day we had for our Marathon Sunday. We managed to dodge all of the raindrops thankfully. Thank you to all of the Faithful Shepherd families who came and walked, biked, rolled, and ran. The event was a huge success.
A huge thank you to all of the parent volunteers! We are eternally grateful for all you do at FSCS.
Again, thank you so much for making this year's marathon day a fun event for everyone!
Go Marathon!

Faithful Shepherd lauches $2.5M Capital Campaign, "Shepherd the Way". The goal of the campaign is to raise $2.5 million dollars, of which $2 million dollars will be used to reduce the School debt. The remaining $500,000 raised in the campaign is specifically targeted to supporting important School technology needs.

Minnesota Catholic Advocacy Network (MNCAN)
The Minnesota Catholic Advocacy Network (MNCAN), in part, has been formed:
To give witness to the total community regarding the contributions, and the immense social, spiritual, educational, cultural, and economic benefits that Minnesota's Catholic schools provide our local communities, state, and society.
To inform the Catholic school community about public-policy decisions that affect Catholic school students, parents and schools.
To advocate for parental choice in education, without significant restrictive economic disadvantage, as a just and viable means for educating citizens.
To mobilize the Catholic school community of Minnesota as an effective grassroots constituency, that communicates with legislators and other public officials regarding educational rights and public policy.
To secure appropriate financial support for all parents of Catholic school children and those parents wishing to avail themselves of the full array of quality educational opportunities.
